2004-10-12 [Yuriona]: I too am at your service Master Hedda. *curtseys* All you need do is ask.
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: LMAO, Yuri!! I have already messaged him about it, Leah. You need to now have a home, LOL!!
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: Whenever you have a badge design, mail it to me. :P xx
2004-10-12 [The Dark Lord]: Could i be a gaurd plz?
2004-10-12 [owly]: I can fly. I can write (well). I'm understanding. And I'm divine.
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: So I see, bea. You can write well. ;-) Are you a member on ET? If you are, tell me your home name please so I can see a bit more of you. You might be a possible member I would elect too. ^_^ You just need to make more of your home on here.
2004-10-12 [Yuriona]: *scowls at Emma* Shhhhh!! My name is Amaya here. LOL!!
2004-10-12 [n00b]: Can I be a guard ? My house on elftown is also [n00b] and I'm doing my work there with helping people. :)
2004-10-12 [owly]: ok, my home now has slightly more substance.
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: LMAO. Sorry, AMAYA!!!!! *COWERS*
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: I have another position for you in mind, Kayne. Send me a private message.
2004-10-12 [SilverFire]: :\
2004-10-12 [n00b]: Sorry Silvie
2004-10-12 [SilverFire]: so you should be. *isn't quite sure what you're apologising for, but you should still be damn sorry for it :P*
2004-10-12 [n00b]: *priave message or something*
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: ....Amaya is a personal friend, Silver. ;-)
2004-10-12 [kayne]: She was talking to me :p , But Ihave deleted my messages
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: Why is it you are n00b as well as Kayne, then?
2004-10-12 [kayne]: I wanted a second account. I always make that. When I want friends of mine to get to know elfpack they always say to me : " you have to full in a lot and such" and therefore I always make a double account. to show friends of mine the goodness of this place. I work on that thing as well. I add wiki's to show the thigns you can do. and where I explain what elftown can and can not do.
2004-10-12 [kayne]: is that a bit clear ? :s
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: Indeed. ;O)
2004-10-12 [SilverFire]: why are you telling me who your personal friends are, Emma? :S
2004-10-12 [Whim]: Wow...this place is weird. Just out of curiosity, why is there a bizarro Elftown now in existance?
2004-10-12 [kayne]: cause this is a place for people who don't like sci fi and such that much.
2004-10-12 [SilverFire]: *noddles* for the people who got banned/are not wanted on ET & for the people who don't really care about the fantasy/sci-fi
2004-10-12 [Whim]: ah...I see. Well, now that I’m here, I’ll start building a small empire again. I think the council knows where to find me if they need me.
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: [Whim], this is a place where the general public can join and discuss anything. Elftown is mainly for artists. This is connected to Elftown. It is similar, except the rules here are not as strict. Uploading art rules
2004-10-12 [adeletedboy]: Hallo, everyone!!! The colour sceme is depressing!!!!
2004-10-12 [Sunrose]: muahaha, i can't help it! I didn't do anything!
2004-10-12 [Whim]: Oh, you know...the usual...just hang out, post a little art, chat with the locals, spread my evil seed, yadda yadda yadda...
2004-10-12 [1st Font]: lol change your name back :P
2004-10-12 [Sunrose]: Look at my house Font, my name hasn't changed there..
2004-10-12 [Sunrose]: better now?
2004-10-12 [1st Font]: Grrr! Well it looks like a bug to me - :S (Incase everyone wants to know Sunrose is the impersonater.
2004-10-12 [Sunrose]: LOL!
2004-10-12 [Sunrose]: Hey you screwed my house, that's not my fault! My house is still called [*Sunrose]..
2004-10-12 [Whim]: Why would I join the sex forum? Despite popular belief and my natural sex appeal, I'm not a very sexual person.
2004-10-12 [*h2hdf]: because it's fun :)
2004-10-12 [Whim]: psh...I have more important things to get started on. I just have to do them after work.
2004-10-12 [Sunrose]: yay it's fixed!
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: Paul, are you feeling frisky again?
2004-10-12 [*h2hdf]: a little :-) Emma, have you joined the Sex forum yet?
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: No...
2004-10-12 [EmJ Taylor]: Rawrr.
2004-10-12 [Young J.C.]: I clearly would like to announce that I would like to help!
2004-10-12 [??????]: yeah i wana help the guards
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Preperations are nearly complete, so I now officially offer my services to the Council, Guards, and other random folks about this place.
2004-10-13 [spiritee]: replica of elftown ^^ been thinking bout that
2004-10-13 [Whim]: It's not a replica. It's more like a bastard sibling. This one is grey.
2004-10-13 [spiritee]: same thing~so who made this anyways?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Oh, I think you know who made it. Who else would be so bastardly as to create such a vile creation... ; )
2004-10-13 [Whim]: I have to disagree with that "enough guards" statement. I mean, none of those guards have the experience that I have. How many of those guards have carefully studied the innerworkings of all the authority members of Elftown? One...two...ma
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: You're not exactly known for your people skills are ya Whim?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: I have amazing people skills. Think about it. I've spoken to every guard on Elftown on multiple occasions for multiple reasons. I know every rule by heart. Not only that, but I know the way the criminal mind works.
2004-10-13 [Sunrose]: You will have no use for it here: this is a different community and it can have different rules from elftown. Also there are different people appointed here, so knowing elftownpeople/
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: Those bars and "cartoon robber" GIFs I joked about on the crew forum seem appropriate, after all. Even if this site is powered by a Commodore VIC-20 ;-)
2004-10-13 [Whim]: You're absolutely right, Sunrose. But I am very skilled at learning the ways of the people and the community. I'm a more laid back person than most guards and that suits the more laid back rules of Elfpack. I already know what Elfpack is all about. I knew what it was about almost as soon as I logged on and I am just the person to take this place to new heights. This place reflects my style almost perfectly and that's why you need a guard who will reflect that very style right back in a bright colorful rainbow of glory.
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: Didn't Lex Luthor say something like that to Superman? :-P (RIP Christopher Reeve, by the way)
2004-10-13 [Sunrose]: Muahahaha! Nice speech..
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Lex Luthor was also a powerful business man. If it weren't for the whole thing with evil and such, he could have been a fine leader.
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: And if Hitler wasn't a madman, he would have been a fine leader, too? ;-)
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Actually, yes. He was very smart and a master tactition. He took German technology to new heights during his reign. If he were a good guy or you were a nazi, you'd love him...hehe.
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: O_O Way too eager there beaver. Like Sunrose pointed out, this isn't Elftown, it's an entirely new community. The guards should be new, with new ideas so they can grow and evolve as the community does.
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: I rest my case ^_^
2004-10-13 [Whim]: I do have new ideas. My ideas are far more newer than these so called "new" guards. I really don't think they even should count as new. Doyle was an assembly member, Emma was a patroller, and I'm sure if I took a look at the others, I could see what how they stuck close to council and guard members of elftown.
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: Well you certainly aren't going to convince any of us with that attitude. Maybe it would be wise to quit now before you really offend someone. That way, when the time comes for more guards or the introduction of patrollers, you won't be overlooked.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Ah, so you want me to suck up in hopes of becoming a guard? Can't do that. Either you're willing to consider me or you're not. The fact is, I have all kinds of potential that you refuse to consider because you're too caught up on personal or past issues. That may offend you, but it's the truth.
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: Is that meant to be a threat?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Um...ok, if you see a threat anywhere in any of that, then wow...you're really really weird or something. I keep reading it and I'm not seeing the threat there.
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: *shrugs* just wondering ^__^
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: And you're still trying way too hard. It's all well and good that you feel you have something to prove and contribute but whoever decided there were enough guards did so for a reason. I don't care if you suck up and I really don't care if you're right or wrong. As it stands at the moment, no more guards are being accepted and that's that. If that changes, I'm sure you'll be considered since you're obviously an upstanding and knowledgable member of the community.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: So who is in charge of all this?
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: Just don't invade Russia, Master Tactician. Remember what happened to Hitler and Napoleon ^_~
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Russia doesn't have anything I like.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, yes, I know that much, but who is picking guards and such?
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: As far as I know, you have to be nominated by a council member then approved by [Hedda]. I could be wrong though.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Elfpack council member?
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: As far as I know.
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: I see to many known faces here. Can I nominate myself?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: They aren't accepting anymore guards right now. Come back later.
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: Ah fuck...
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: I'm having the best of luck with this shit.
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: LOL... this is better than watching two ethiopians fight over rice...
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: LMAO! *has to pee from laughing so hard*
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: Why would you watch two starving people fight over food?
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Because we're hungry. By the way, what's all this about contribution? I feel strangely energized to do so.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Yes, we must contribute. Prepare the contribution utensils.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: *Prepares pens, papers, roleplay, and creativity... Along with ethics and revolutionary ideas for an already-wonder
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: i wanna be a MAGICIAN.. teehee Dunno what they do but it sounds grooooovy
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Too bad. You're not revolutionary enough. Fear our ethics.
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: sorry for the humanitarian joke at the expense of another's misfortune, but... HEY it's ELFPACK! We're all here cuz we wanna have FUN! *runs around and moons everyone* WHEEEEEEE
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: plumsquasher. XP well, well well.. aren't WE just mr. social hand grenade today.. hmmmm? *grin*
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: *snickers*
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Bah...I need not your hand grenades. I have weapons. Oh the weapons I have which you will not see.
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: *watches Whim's head swell beyond the scope of physical reason* Don't go shootin yerself in the foot there Sheriff... ya might'n be needin that bullet later..LOL
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Psh...I have two bullets. I can spare one.
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: "Ignore that man behind the curtain!" *sends Toto in The Whimizard of Oz's general direction*
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Yes, ignore me while I eat your puppies.
2004-10-13 [Sunrose]: hey, no biting!
2004-10-13 [EmJ Taylor]: Amaya, I agree. [Whim], you are not known for your skills at all. Plus, we don't want a "criminal mastermind" on our team. If you start behaving properly, we may consider you. ;-) In regards to not having enough experience...I am a Patroller and a member of the Assembly on Elftown. I have a lot of experience. Paul and Amaya have experience too. The first time I edited this page we WERE asking for possible candidates, however we have found enough for the time being. :P
2004-10-13 [Kate, short for bob!]: it's harder being a guard than i thought lol!!
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: Hmmmm... http://www.wav
2004-10-13 [Kate, short for bob!]: awwww thats nice and calming!
2004-10-13 [GreyFox]: *grin*
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: ROFLMAO@Greyfo
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: Muahahaha! *shifty eyes* Funny audio clip :)
2004-10-13 [teptep]: well found this page fast.
2004-10-13 [Sexy Man Beast]: N E Hotties wanna chat type 69!
2004-10-13 [Alexander The Great]: Soooo I'm takeing it if I want to help than I would come here? Well I'll help in any way I can. It's cool to see a site like this in the early stages. I want to see it grow. Mabey it will become as big as elftown ha ha. ^.^
2004-10-13 [pBm^_+El**+w]: GWWWAWWWRR!!! Where can we find a dragon-sized luxury love-shack?
2004-10-13 [teptep]: but lets hope it doesn't become as uncontrolling as it has been, not that this site should be controlled, it is just on elftown there are to many people whom are way uptight and feel elftown should be runned the way they want it. I'm not making any scence am I?
2004-10-13 [EmJ Taylor]: Do you have your privs yet, Amaya?
2004-10-13 [Alexander The Great]: Ya you make sence Teptep, I see what your getting at.
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: Nope not yet Emma but I'm sure I'll get them eventually. ^^ No teptep, this place won't be as strict as Elftown but that doesn't mean it won't have rules.
2004-10-13 [kayne]: What do you people mean by less strict ? ( I'm against it anyway :p )
2004-10-13 [Yuriona]: Suggestions would be helpful. ^^
2004-10-13 [EmJ Taylor]: I think Hedda has given Paul privs.. but not you yet..
2004-10-13 [Hot Tabasco]: Can I be a guard? :) I am also a member of Elftown...
2004-10-13 [Larova]: So what -does- it take to become an Elfpack guard? If it's at all possible, I'd like to do what I can to become one, or even do a good part in helping out.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Wow...would ya look at that. Someone smiled upon me and declared me a guard. *shrugs*
2004-10-13 [kayne]: See , if you ask it long enough you can be one :p
2004-10-13 [Whim]: No, you can't just beg. You have to actually be qualified...or something...
2004-10-13 [kayne]: Mmmm and how do you qualify then ?
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Yeah, most whiny pointless people coming up consistently to the council begging for a position as a guard end up just ostracized due to the pure nuisance of their being. Needless to say, asking long enough won't get you anywhere. I think you just have to get one of the head guards drunk.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: It's a long process of tests and they make you jump through all kinds of hoops. I had to write like 10 essays about various things like Swedish law and the pope and even window painting. I even had to run like 30 miles. It's not for the weak.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Wait, [Whim], didn't you even have to scale a castle wall and fight four magickally-bir
2004-10-13 [kayne]: aah oken that is normal you do that
2004-10-13 [teptep]: wow whim a gaurd go you, now if only I can get one of those uniforms.
2004-10-13 [teptep]: tries to give paul beer.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Avoral, I told you not to mention that part. It's supposed to be secret.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Oh, damn. *Shifts eyes* There were no nightmare beasts, you crazy people you. That was just one of my insane rants. Look at me, all abnormal and stuff. Tee hee, that was a real knee-slapper.
2004-10-13 [teptep]: I actualy thought he had to prove himself with an agility test where he had to juggel knives chainsaws explosive chimicals and barbra streisands undergarments.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: I exempted that part. They just looked at me and knew that I was all about some agility.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Erm... You really think they're goiing to unleash Barbara Streisand's undergarments on the world? Heh... Sorry to disillusion you, but that's just one of the myths the guards tell you.
2004-10-13 [teptep]: ooh ok yeah though that was a bit extream.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: *Nods* The guards ARE powerful, but use your judgment.
2004-10-13 [Kalyana]: stupid guards deleted my pictures
2004-10-13 [kayne]: that is to bad
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, Kalyana, it happens. Just try harder next time...hehe.
2004-10-13 [teptep]: and yes whim not to sound like a suck up or anything I would love to help, as I do on elftown.
2004-10-13 [Janouk]: Question: Aren't you afraid most of the Elftowners will also join this site, making this just a second Elftown, with the only difference that the rules are slightly different? I mean, what if this becomes just a copy of Elftown?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, I'm sure you'd love to help, just as many do, and that's why Elfpack has that good old guard report system. You'll find that helping here is like helping there only greyer!
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Well, it's the same framework, right? Couldn't it possibly be that this IS just a copy of Elftown? Besides, Elftown's not down; a lot of them are busy politicking and doing 16-year-old stuff, and don't even notice the Elfpack site sitting right there in front of their faces. It's not like they're ALL just going to pack up and move to a different site just because it's there.
2004-10-13 [teptep]: ahhh ok.
2004-10-13 [teptep]: indeed avoral.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: And Janouk, you may be right, but I feel like the members of this community we call Elfpack can work together to build a functional and unique setting. The format may always remain similar, but the purpose and direction that it takes will be very outstanding--p
2004-10-13 [teptep]: indeed I mean look at these radiant colors blue white grey...whats not radiant about it ^.^
2004-10-13 [Janouk]: It's not that I don't like the idea of it all! No, not at all! I guess I'm still a bit confused, that's all...
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, one must start somewhere. Elfpack starts much in the same way of TV. A little black and white for now, but once you find the fun in it, you forget that color exists at all.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: You're right to feel a bit confused, but I assure you, this is a community built by personality of the peoples. Feel free to bring your ideas and concerns whenever you like. It takes special members like you and teptep to make this community a better place.
2004-10-13 [Janouk]: haha. I'll think about Elfpack tonight ^^
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Besides, there's always confusion in the beginning. Just give it a while, and Elfpack will be every bit as grand as Elftown was, without the annoying downfall and tensions.
2004-10-13 [Janouk]: I, the lucky ET-member that I am, didnt really noticed all the tension and downfalls as so many of you describe...*si
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Don't think of it as a new start. Think of it as a new game.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Me either, but apparently there was some.
2004-10-13 [Janouk]: Hey, (yes, another question) what if people get the idea of stealing ones name from Elftown. Like someone would call himself [Shanra] on here, while the real [Shanra] isn't here. You might get fake persons around here, isn't that so?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: That's very true, but there isn't a rule against it and in my opinion, I see no reason why there should be, though it is a bit of a deceiving ploy that many may attempt. No doubt that a guard or two would feel the need to keep an eye out for any mischief they might cause.
2004-10-13 [Larova]: Yeah, I originally thought someone had done it with Hedda.
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Okay... question: Why is there a kangeroo for the elfpack logo? 0.o
2004-10-13 [Whim]: I have no idea. I think it might have something to do with the fact that it was the first logo submission that would fit...hehe. It's not bad though. Visit Elfpack logos to see other submission or maybe submit your own. You may also find better answers there as well.
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Ah... hehe it's quite good actually. Just so random.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: I agree...hehe. But perhaps random is the most appropriate theme of Elfpack at the moment.
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Yeah, I guess so.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, when you enter Elfpack, what do you feel the theme is or should be?
2004-10-13 [keisari]: I don't know, never really thought about it. I guess I've started to see it as a place for all the "rebels" of elftown (and some regular members) to come, sort of like Elftown is the city, and Elfpack is the underground community. Does that makes sense?
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Oh yes. Makes perfect sense actually. I think it's all the grey...and the thing about fewer rules.
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Exactly. When Elftown sleeps, the people of Elfpack awake. It's just a feeling of something like that - although et never really sleeps, cos of all the time differences.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Hehe...well, here on the east coast of America, it seems that Elfpack does have a bit more life at night and Elftown seems to calm down at night...for me anyway.
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Elftown always seems to get busier at night - but then I'm in England, and I guess it's when all you Americans start to wake up or get home from work or whatever.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Yeah, I suppose so...hehe. Stupid American chaps.
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Hehe... I was going to say something else, but forgot what...
2004-10-13 [Sven Welkenson]: Hmmm, interesting place we have here...
2004-10-13 [matt]: yes
2004-10-13 [Sven Welkenson]: Um...in regard to the notice under the list of guards...I'd like to help ^_^
2004-10-13 [keisari]: Yeah, I can help with anything as well - got alot of spare time to kill.
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: You are gonna wait. Whim and myself have already offered.
2004-10-13 [Sven Welkenson]: Yeah, don't we all?
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: Who are the council members?
2004-10-13 [*h2hdf]: *Alex Trebek voice* Correct! [Young J.C.], choose a new category :)
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: Are there no council members yet? I'll volunteer myself for any position!
2004-10-13 [Sheona]: We don't appear to have a council, as yet ;) I'm sure that will come with time.
2004-10-13 [1st Font]: Im thinking about it.. But as [Sheona] Says it will come with time... i'm sure
2004-10-13 [Whim]: As of right now, I don't see much need for a Council. There's still a good bit of foundation growing here. No immediate need for the real development just yet.
2004-10-13 [1st Font]: ...and that's what the 'in time' meant.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, yeah. That may be true. You're a smart guy, Font. You'll make a fine citizen here.
2004-10-13 [Sunrose]: -laughs-
2004-10-13 [1st Font]: A fine citizen indeed :P maybe you would too :P
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Damn skippy. That's why I'm here. I'm all about enforcing rules and lowering the level of chaos.
2004-10-13 [1st Font]: Good job, Not too strict now, EP is much more lax than ET
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well aware of that. Of course I haven't heard any domestic disputes and the like as of yet. Just a few art violations. If I understand correctly, those rules are being enforced about as strict as ever.
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: Yes, to have full proof of an copyrighted agreement allowing that person to use the image.
2004-10-13 [Whim]: Well, it seems that as long as the image isn't stolen, there's a higher degree of flexibility about what that image can be depicting.
2004-10-13 [Young J.C.]: Ah... the rules clearly states as long as you took that picture and can show proof of allowing you to alter the image in some way of an celebrity or band, then you are aloud to have it.
