I would never take Scott to Hooter's. I know he wouldn't look, just like your's didn't (which is very sweet, mind you, so I would appreciate it ;D It's a rare quality)...but all those little girls in little shirts would be intentionally trying to get his attention. That's what pisses me off. 2006-11-24 [Bookwyrm]: Yeah, I need a job, but I can't get one because people are hesitant to hire someone with so many medical disabilities/issues, and the only job they will hire me for is waitressing...which my health does not allow. :( That's really why I'm going to college, so I can do something I can handle. And I can empathize. I have to clean everyday, not cook (well I cook for myself during the day but that's it) and do laundry, etc. so my grandparents don't have to because they work. Basically I'm a full-time maid that doesn't have to pay taxes or living expenses. Although in February I'll be a part-time maid and part-time college student, and by May you can add full-time wife. :P And be thankful you don't have Thanksgiving, it's a wonderful holiday but the cooking lasts from 4AM to 1PM and at about 6PM the cleanup starts...looooots of dishes. :P That's what I just did.

Hahaha nah, I like doing housework, to be honest. It's just that this is a VERY old house, so there are some places I'm too frightened to clean. And it desperately needs to be recarpeted/painted/wallpapered, etc. But really that just takes too much time, and everyone's too tired by the end of the day. We'd hire people, but that would cost too much. :/ That's really one of the reasons I'm looking forward to my own place...I can clean it reaaaaal good once and just work my ass off to keep it clean. I can't stand a dirty house.

2006-11-24 [Bookwyrm]: I actually enjoyed my family's company today, despite the few digs sent my way. ^-^ But of course, this is the first time in a long time that I've enjoyed the holidays...so I'm very satisfied with my "Turkey Day". :P I didn't have to hear anything about a GPA, but of course I'm currently not in school. I think everyone was more proud of me this year...starting college, getting married, etc. They're just glad to see me "getting out of the house" metaphorically and physically. XD So yeah...good Thanksgiving. ^-^
