2007-09-26 [Cadet]: I think it's unethical for genocide, but i also am unsure of whether or not i would risk the lives of others if it's so unstable.
2007-09-27 [Molly Louise]: Yes it is unstable, but millions of people have died for no reason other than what can be considered an ethnic cleansing. It can be compared to the Holocaust (but the people doing it aren't as organized as the Nazis) and it's still wrong. The UN or somebody needs to step in and do something. But just because there's no econimical reason for the US to be involved, doesn't mean that we shouldn't be. And that's what it boils down to.
2007-09-27 [Cadet]: I'm not saying don't do it because theirs no economic profit for the US, all i'm saying is that we're losing enough of our citizens by going to war, i'm not sure i could justify putting more lives at risk in such a dangerous situation
2007-09-27 [Molly Louise]: Like Iraq isn't a dangerous enough situation? I think our money and resources, as the American people, would be better suited to helping Darfur that staying in Iraq. Civil war is already trying to start there. Democracy isn't the best idea for everybody.
2007-09-28 [Cadet]: I don't agree with that either, i don't think we should've gone their in the first place, hence the reason i'm so against bush, And none of this government is going the way George Washington planned it to, he said we should stay out of foreing affairs and frankly, i agree. i'm not saying stay totally isolated, but enough so that we don't get ourselves into trouble by being where we don't belong.
