*Note*: Yes this is taken from the movie/book by James Patterson's Kiss the Girls. Now i've never seen the movie but i have read the book. Just thought i'd let you know this. And no it wont be exactly the same.

Plot:

The story is based around Alex Cross and Beth Lieberman a detective and a journalist who are trying to catch these dangerous men to stop them from killing for their own reasons. There are two killers who are terrorizing the east coast. Cassanova, as he likes to be called, started murdering and abducting women and young girls in 1975 in Boca Raton, Florida. Ten years later in Chapel Hill, North Carolina a man who calls himself, the gentlemen caller, has started to murder women and young girls after hearing about cassanova. Both killers communicate by posting singles looking for a mate ads in the paper that only they understand what they're saying. Their murders are a sick twisted lovers game they play they're victims are like gifts for each other.

So far both men have flaunted their murders to the police and media playing a little game of cat and mouse. Though to Cassanova's dismay one woman managed to get away Kate McTiernan, but he's relieved to hear that she has no memory of what had happened to her, but memories dont always stay hidden so he plans on while still kidnapping other women, for his own personal brothel, he will kill Kate to keep her silent.

Alex Cross hunts after Cassanova to keep him from abducting and killing again but now its personal. Cassanova has just kidnapped his niece Naomi Cross. He only hopes that he can catch the man before harm comes to his niece. Meanwhile, Beth is trying to piece together crimes and posts letters from the gentleman caller so that she can at least spare some lives but she doesnt know that what she knows is the missing links that Alex Cross needs to catch Cassanova and the gentlemen caller.

Can the two figure out the pieces of the puzzle before its too late? Can they work through the clues to finally put an end to terror brought by these two men?.
