The thoughts focused on before sleep...
Induce dreams of these thoughts to keep. <3

"Awesomeness"

Be the best of who you can be,
Awesome then you shall be!
Be the best of who you are,
You will shine then like a star!
Fill your heart with Love,
For hate, there'll be no space!
Brightly shine your Light,
Like a beacon every place!

Awesomeness needs no announcing,
For words don't make it so,
Awesomeness shines from within,
From Love and Light that glow!

"I don't Love casually.
When I Love, it's fierce.
It's my soul ripped
Wide open and raw.
It's my Whole heart
on display.
It's all I have and
Everything I know,
Handed over to You,
Like a gift,
And I hope You
Unwrap it gently."
-s.l.-

I think this is the ONLY way TO Love. <3

"Love Balloon"

edited from original

I wrote his name on a balloon,
Encircled it in a heart.
Soon my fingers to release it,
Soon it shall depart.

As I watch it rise into
The heavens high above,
I've sent it to the Universe,
Proclaiming all my Love.
What has been a secret
Kept hidden deep inside,
Is a secret no longer
As the fear did subside.
For so long fear held me captive,
Fear my heart imprisoned,
But now I'm free to feel the Love
My heart has envisioned.
It matters not what others say
Nor whatever they perceive,
My heart’s now free to Love
And in Love to believe.

I wrote his name on a green balloon, encircled it in a heart.
Soon my fingers will release it, soon it shall depart.

As I watch it rise into the heavens high above,
I've sent it to the Universe, proclaiming all my Love.
What has been a secret kept hidden deep inside,

This is the Mature Masculine
- the New Warrior -
a re-definition of masculinity for the 21st century.

"The New Macho"

He holds himself accountable.
He knows what he feels.
He knows how to cry and he lets it go.
He knows how to rage without hurting others.
He knows how to fear and how to keep moving.
He seeks self-mastery.

He has let go of childish shame.
He feels guilty when he's done something wrong.
He is kind to men, kind to women, kind to children.
He teaches others how to be kind.
He says he's sorry.

He stopped blaming women or his parents
or men for his pain years ago.
He stopped letting his defenses ruin his relationships.
He stopped letting his penis run his life.
He has enough self-respect to tell the truth.
He creates intimacy and trust with his actions.
He has men that he trusts and that he turns to for support.
He knows how to roll with it.
He knows how to make it happen.
He is disciplined when he needs to be.
He is flexible when he needs to be.
He knows how to listen from the core of his being.

He's not afraid to get dirty.
He's ready to confront his own limitations.
He has high expectations for himself
and for those he connects with.
He looks for ways to serve others.
He knows he is an individual.
He knows that we are all one.
He knows he is an animal and a part of nature.
He knows his spirit and his connection to something greater.
He knows his higher purpose.
He loves with fierceness.
He laughs with abandon, because he gets the joke.

"If You Want to Change the World, Love a Woman" (2008)

From Lisa Citore:
When a fairly spiritual male friend of mine who had finally found and was deepening into committed relationship with his soul mate confided in me
he was thinking of being single again, and in the next breath expressed his latest idea for raising consciousness worldwide, I wrote this poem.

If you want to change the world… love a woman-really love her.
Find the one who calls to your soul, who doesn’t make sense.
Throw away your check list and put your ear to her heart and listen.
Hear the names, the prayers, the songs of every living thing-
every winged one, every furry and scaled one,
every underground and underwater one, every green and flowering one,
every not yet born and dying one…
Hear their melancholy praises back to the One who gave them life.
If you haven’t heard your own name yet, you haven’t listened long enough.
If your eyes aren’t filled with tears, if you aren’t bowing at her feet,
you haven’t ever grieved having almost lost her.

If you want to change the world… love a woman-one woman
beyond yourself, beyond desire and reason,
beyond your male preferences for youth, beauty and variety
and all your superficial concepts of freedom.
We have given ourselves so many choices
we have forgotten that true liberation
comes from standing in the middle of the soul’s fire
and burning through our resistance to Love.
There is only one Goddess.
Look into Her eyes and see-really see
if she is the one to bring the axe to your head.
If not, walk away. Right now.
Don’t waste time “trying.”
Know that your decision has nothing to do with her
because ultimately it’s not with who,
but when we choose to surrender.

If you want to change the world… love a woman.
Love her for life-beyond your fear of death,
beyond your fear of being manipulated
by the Mother inside your head.
Don’t tell her you’re willing to die for her.
Say you’re willing to LIVE with her,
plant trees with her and watch them grow.
Be her hero by telling her how beautiful she is in her vulnerable majesty,
by helping her to remember every day that she IS Goddess
through your adoration and devotion.

If you want to change the world… love a woman
in all her faces, through all her seasons
and she will heal you of your schizophrenia-
your double-mindedness and half-heartedness
which keeps your Spirit and body separate-
which keeps you alone and always looking outside your Self
for something to make your life worth living.
There will always be another woman.
Soon the new shiny one will become the old dull one
and you’ll grow restless again, trading in women like cars,
trading in the Goddess for the latest object of your desire.
Man doesn’t need any more choices.
What man needs is Woman, the Way of the Feminine,
of Patience and Compassion, non-seeking, non-doing,
of breathing in one place and sinking deep intertwining roots
strong enough to hold the Earth together
while she shakes off the cement and steel from her skin.

If you want to change the world… love a woman, just one woman .
Love and protect her as if she is the last holy vessel.
Love her through her fear of abandonment
which she has been holding for all of humanity.
No, the wound is not hers to heal alone.
No, she is not weak in her co-dependence.

If you want to change the world… love a woman
all the way through
until she believes you,
until her instincts, her visions, her voice, her art, her passion,
her wildness have returned to her-
until she is a force of love more powerful
than all the political media demons who seek to devalue and destroy her.

If you want to change the world,
lay down your causes, your guns and protest signs.
Lay down your inner war, your righteous anger
and love a woman…
beyond all of your striving for greatness,
beyond your tenacious quest for enlightenment.
The holy grail stands before you
if you would only take her in your arms
and let go of searching for something beyond this intimacy.

What if peace is a dream which can only be re-membered
through the heart of Woman?
What if a man’s love for Woman, the Way of the Feminine
is the key to opening Her heart?

If you want to change the world…love a woman
to the depths of your shadow,
to the highest reaches of your Being,
back to the Garden where you first met her,
to the gateway of the rainbow realm
where you walk through together as Light as One,
to the point of no return,
to the ends and the beginning of a new Earth.

A true relationship is a mosaic of adjustments, compromises, sacrifices, maturity, understanding, commitment, patience,
tolerance and unconditional love. It is painted with tears, laughter, smiles and sprinkled with beautiful moments spent
together. It is not all about happiness but also holding each other’s hands when sadness creeps in. It is all about two
people who are madly in love with each other and have a strong determination to make their relationship work by en-
during each other’s imperfections, overlooking flaws and cherishing the differences…

#CreativePeople #NaturallyBornCreatives #TrueCreatives
<img:http://i1.huffpost.com/gen/1646635/thumbs/n-CREATIVITY-large570.jpg>
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/04/creativity-habits_n_4859769.html
Thanks to Ramanjit for sharing with me this link. :)
To read the full article, go to the link. Are you a "natural born" artist/creative person? If most or all the traits and characteristics described you can truly relate to, you are likely a true creative.

I've been a highly creative person ever since I can remember, a "natural born" creative person. Those who "learn to be creative" are NOT the same as those who are "born creative". Born creatives have creativeness already built IN them. People who are not born creative cannot and do not really understand this difference.

People are gifted in many ways. Being highly creative is just one way to be gifted. Natural born creatives are uniquely different but I think gifted people (which I believe we all are) who pursue and cultivate their gift in whatever way they are, have unique traits and characteristics specific with them and their gift. If we haven't already, it's important for each of us to explore ourselves to find how we are gifted and then aspire to fulfill the gift within us. There's a certain amount of self confidence and self worth that comes with knowing who you are, what you were born destined to be AND then BEING that which you were destined to be/do.

"We may "learn" to do many things in our lifetime
And we may learn to do them well,
But when we go with the flow
With what's within us aglow,
We will then be able to excel." ~ #ArtsieladieQuotes

I cannot speak on other gifts I'm not gifted with, but I can speak about being a natural born creative person with expertise based on first hand and lived experience because I am one. I can relate to every one of these distinctive traits of a highly creative person.

01) They daydream. - A LOT!
13) They get out of their own heads. - Oh yeah, for sure! Daydreaming and being able to see things from outside of me, looking in.
I am a daydreamer. Daydreaming is allowing the mind to wander without limitations, without restraints, so your thoughts can be free to embrace more than just the possible, but also explore what the conscious mind perceives to be the impossible. Lifting and eliminating all restrictions so the mind can flow completely freely is necessary for the creative mind.

02) They observe everything. - EVERYTHING I am exposed to.
I am acutely aware of and in tune with my surroundings. I am usually always fully aware of what's going on around me. I've noticed how many people are completely oblivious to what's going on around them and I can't relate to this. I notice even the smallest and very subtle changes. Something even the slightest out of place, I will pick up on.

03) They work the hours that work for them. - No schedule if I can possibly help it!
14) They lose track of the time. - Especially when I am really into a creative project.
I have no schedule and even if I have to have some sort of schedule, begrudgingly, I always try my darnedest to make sure there's as much flexibility as possible. When a wave of creativeness comes over me, I want to be able to go with it, at least enough so I have the roots of it firmly planted so I can return to it.

I eat when I'm hungry and I sleep when I'm tired. I do not eat breakfast at 7:00 am just because it's supposed to be time for breakfast. Heck, I don't even eat foods that are supposed to be for breakfast unless it's what I want in the moment. I may and have cooked a dinner that normally most would say it wasn't 'correct' for breakfast. Eh, why should breakfast be certain foods? Why should dinner be for that matter? I eat what I'm hankering for when I'm hungry without regards to what time of the day it is. ..And I don't look at the clock and say, "Gee, it's 10:00 pm, time to go to sleep." No, I go to sleep when my body tells me I need sleep.

When I am really into a creative project and everything is just flowing and coming together, the clock can tick away while I keep on with what I'm doing. Should this be interrupted by something or someone, I'm not likely to be too happy. I do not allot time to complete a project either. The project and the time it takes to make it with the best possible results decides the amount of time that will be spent.

04) They take time for solitude. - Absolutely; detest invasion of 'my time' or 'my space', and one who suffocates and is always clinging or hanging over you. It irritates me to no end!
18) They make time for mindfulness. - Sure thing! I always like and make the time for to spend with myself.
We creatives need to stay connected with ourselves, both our conscious and our subconscious selves and when with others around, there are distractions that will keep us from being able to do this on the level we need to.

05) They turn life's obstacles around. - Right. Turn a bad situation into something to work creatively with.

06) They seek out new experiences. - Always liking trying/learning something new; detest repetition and the monotonous and mundane.

07) They "fail up." - Yup! Fail.. try again. Fail.. try again. etc..

08) They ask the big questions. - Yeah, want answers? Ask questions!

09) They people-watch. - Love to observe peeps, one can learn so much!

10) They take risks. - Yes! Push the limits!
I may not plan on jumping out of a plane any time soon, but let me see something wrong being done and I will not hesitate to make it be known, even if and especially knowing I will be ostracised and persecuted when I do.

..And even if someone's track record isn't all that good, I will likely give them the benefit of the doubt and be willing to give them another shot.. and another.. and as many as it takes if I know they are trying and/or want to improve themselves. Knowing first hand it usually takes several or even many tries to finally get on the right track, I understand that others deserve the same courtesy.

If I love someone I will risk being hurt because to truly love and to experience love, one has to take the risk of getting hurt. If one isn't willing to Love fully and completely, then they aren't ever going to know the meaning of true Love. "One can only be hurt as deeply as they Love." ~ #ArtsieladieQuotes

11) They view all of life as an opportunity for self-expression. - Always! The possibilities are endless!

12) They follow their true passions. - Absolutely! ..And if I'm met with opposition to keep me from my passions, I become agitated and very unhappy. My passions, my heart, pretty much the same.

15) They surround themselves with beauty. - Yes! Beauty but not defined by monetary value, rather beauty money cannot buy. I like simple and natural beauty.

16) They connect the dots. - Right. Having vision.
Having vision especially to be able to see that which isn't even in existence yet, and oftentimes, most others can't even begin to see even remnants of.

17) They constantly shake things up. - New experiences equal new ideas, new concepts and 'new' keeps away staleness and stagnation.
New perpetuates growth and advancement. I don't like repetition at all. It's monotonous.

"The trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism." ~ Norman Vincent Peale

Bingo! True! The truth will come out eventually. It always does. Lying and sugar coating the truth just delays the inevitable
and usually delaying the inevitable by lying and/or sugar coating the truth, makes the truth much worse to find out when it
finally does surface because then there's all the lying that needs to be dealt with in addition to the truth. Not to mention,
lying and supporting lying, eats at a person within making them prisoner to lies when they could have been living free by tel-
ling the truth. <3

“Truth sets us free; lies hold us prisoner.” ~ #ArtsieladieQuotes
“I'd much rather be hated for speaking the truth, than loved for telling and supporting lies.” ~ #ArtsieladieQuotes
